Hey ya’ll

Happy first day of June and I know It’s been the longest time since I did a post..sorry guys😞. All shall be explained soon so I hope you stay tuned…

I’ve been in love with the co-ord trend for a while now but my initial thought was that they looked like glorified versions of pyjamas so I was a bit skeptical that is of course until, I saw my style icon, Solange, work a pair and I was sold ever since.

Now you have to understand the love I have for Mrs Solange Ferguson. Not only is she my age mate, absolutely gorgeous and a naturalista, her style is simply class! I mean she practically made mixing prints a trend. She makes prints look effortless when it is actually an art to pair certain prints. She does no wrong in my eyes and if you stick around you may get to see how she influences my style day to day. I absolutely heart her…one day I will meet her💜 #mydreamsarevalid

My Style Inspo

With that said I bought this lovely floral blue co-ord from h&m at a very reasonable price. These are sadly sold out now but Asos have an array of Co-ords so don’t fret if you haven’t grabbed a pair by now. I took it with me on holiday to my motherland and home – Kenya and thought since I’m at probably one of the most beautiful and scenic places I’ve ever been to,why not take some pics.

Biking is fun

The scenery at the Great Rift Valley Lodge in Naivasha, Kenya is breathtaking. I will post about my trip later this week. On this occasion I decided to go bike riding as I had eaten way too much during my stay so a bit of exercise was needed and I thought this place would make an amazing backdrop, which it did. I hope you agree 🙂

I feel I need to stress the point that I didn’t realize or thought of the fact that I had not touched a bike for over 9 years and we were situated on a very high hill…hmmm not the best idea I’ve ever had but it was fun nonetheless, in hindsight. Let’s just say, anything that goes down eventually has to go back up! This is where I started sweating like a pig as I was pushing the bike uphill. Fair to say, no pictures were taken after this point…lol

Up the hill we go
I paired this outfit with my beautiful straw hat from French Connection, similar one here. A grey small cross body bag from h&m for about £3 and my fake Toms from Primark for £4. This is such a simple outfit and I absolutely love it. Prints make me happy😊

Now this type of co-ord may not be everyone’s cup of tea which is okay as there are so many variations. I personally like this type as it’s not only comfortable but it hides all my trouble areas e.g. the belly that has a life of its own. So if you are not comfortable wearing crop tops, this kind of co-ord is for you.

I have many other co-ords that I have ‘invested’ in so I will share them with you guys in due time.

What do you guys think about co-ords? Do you love or hate them? Let me know 🙂

Thanks for stopping by and hope you all have a blessed week!

It's always good to share
